Have you received a lot of packages over the last few weeks? Expecting a bunch more? Well, Founders Hall now has a brand new package system!
What does this mean? Gone are the days of receiving paper slips in your mailbox and having to wait hours to see if you have a package. The package process is now fully electronic and saves time for both the staff and residents.
How will you know if you have a package? Starting TODAY you will receive an email sent to your NYU account notifying you that you have received a package at the Resource Center. This means that you have to check your NYU email on a regular basis in order to find out if you have a package. You should be checking your NYU email on a regular basis as all important university information is sent to this email account.
How do I pick up my package? You will come to the Resource Center with your NYU ID and let the staff at the desk know you received an email about a package. They will be able to find your package and all you have to do is sign for it and you’re done!
What about regular mail – letters, magazines, etc? All other mail will still be in your mailbox.
To sum it up – we will no longer put package slips in mailboxes after today. Please check your mailbox just in case you received a package slip prior to today. After TODAY you must check your email to find out if you have a package. If you have any questions, please let us know!
