SOBER IN NEW YORK!
Next Monday marks the beginning of “Sober in NYC Week.” The event asks students to pledge to be sober for the entire week. You can have fun in New York City without substances, we promise.
Students who pledge are entered into a raffle to win trips including going bowling, going to the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and going to a Super Bowl Party.

Lunar New Year Parade and Festival in Chinatown
Check out the Lunar New Year celebration happening in Chinatown for stunning visuals, tantalizing treats and impressive performances. This street party features all sorts of vendors, food and festivities for all ages. Walk the main streets of Lower Manhattan—from Little Italy through Chinatown—to get a glimpse of the official Lunar New Year Parade.
Outsider Art Fair
The Outsider Art Fair was the first to give a voice to talented artists outside the mainstream. Today, 20 years later, the fair still showcases those who create work that is “visionary, intuitive, primitive and self-taught in nature”—and while the fair has moved around over the years, many of its original dealers are still going strong. Expect more than sellers on hand at this year’s event.
Dance on Camera Festival
The Dance on Camera Festival is precisely that—a celebration of the artistry of dance in cinema. The festival features premieres, repertory films and little-seen foreign fare, along with a number of panel discussions and Q&A sessions. The festival takes place at multiple locations.
Movies coming out this weekend!
