Fall 2012 Arts-Based Dialogue: Race and Education
Fridays, 2-4
1 credit

Open to NYU undergraduates, this course will explore issues of race, privilege, and oppression through the lens of education. Participants will examine their own experiences as well as systemic racism and inequities in the U.S. and global education systems. This dialogue will use dramatic activities as a way to facilitate discussion and explore issues of race. No experience with drama needed! Preference will be given to Education students or students who plan to teach, but all interested students should apply.
