Hey Founders! We hope your semester is going well. There’s still a month left until the end of the semester, but we wanted to communicate this information to you as early as possible so that you can make the appropriate travel arrangements!
Checkout Time. All residents are required to check out 24 hours after their last final exam. Residents with final exams that end after 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 21 are required to check out no later than
12:00pm noon on Wednesday, May 22.
Founders Hall reserves the right to bill you $100 for every 12 hours that you stay in your assignment after your check-out time. If you have already purchased a plane ticket that leaves after the day you are supposed to check out, email RHRM Jerry Roman immediately at email@example.com.
Summer Housing. Residents with confirmed NYU summer housing assignments beginning Monday, May 27 will be allowed to stay in housing until their summer space is ready. You will have a limited amount of time to move once you are given notice that you room is ready, so please be prepared. More details are forthcoming regarding the transition into Summer housing.
Room Checks and Charges. When you check out you will complete a room check with a staff member. All original keys must be returned to the Founders Hall Resource Center. All personal belongings and trash MUST be removed from your room. Residents will be billed a minimum of $150 if any trash or abandoned debris is found in a suite upon check-out.
